Our service begins with a call to worship and includes a prayer of confession, OT and NT Scripture readings, songs of worship (psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs), and an expository sermon. We partake in the Lord’s Supper weekly.
FSC is committed to biblical, God-honoring, Christ-exalting, Spirit-empowered preaching and teaching from the Word of God. We believe the Scriptures are the authority and standard for the life, faith, and practice of the church.
We also worship God in giving by taking an offering in our service. This time of giving is intended for regular attendees who consider FSC their home. You may consider giving and supporting our church as we serve this community in the name of Christ, but you are under no obligation to give. We appreciate and welcome your cheerful generosity to this ministry.
We ask guests to fill out a welcome card provided by the ushers so we can get to know you. You can put it in the offering plate.
We are a family-oriented church so all children are welcome in our services. Our desire is that they see their parents and grandparents engaging in corporate worship. We welcome the sound of children, so don’t worry if your child occasionally makes their presence known.
We understand, especially with younger children, that you may need to take them out of the service. To assist parents, we have an unstaffed area set aside in the fellowship hall for young children. The service is live-streamed to this area for accompanying parents.
