Join us on May 10th at 6:30pm for a night of singing, reading, and praying the Psalms as we explore the theme of Christ's kingship.
All throughout the Psalter, the kingship of Christ is gloriously displayed. From the very beginning of the book of Psalms, Yahweh declares that He has installed His King upon Zion (Psalm 2:6). He is Lord of all the earth and there is not a place where His dominion does not extend (Psalm 47:7; 72:8). He is the King of kings and Lord of lords and all rulers are called to serve Him with fear and trembling (Psalm 2:10-11; Rev. 17:14). All of His enemies are being put as a footstool under his feet (Psalm 110:1).
This King is none other than the Lord Jesus Christ (Isaiah 9:6-7; Eph. 1:20-21; Rev 1:5-6, Rev. 19:11-16). He is now seated at the right hand of God, ruling and reigning until every enemy is defeated, and one day He will return in His glory to judge all nations (Matt. 25:31-32; 1 Cor. 15:23-28; Heb. 8:1).
Don't miss this wonderful evening as we give praise to our King, for He alone is worthy.
